Richard's Birthday Weekend!

This was a great weekend as we celebrated the birthday of a wonderful man, husband and father. Richard turned 35 on Saturday and we celebrated it by spending the day together with just the 4 of us. He was allowed to do whatever he wanted (within reason) and we would go and enjoy it with him.
We first went out to breakfast to a little restaurant by our house. After breakfast we came home and got ready to head out for the day. We went to the Discovery Museum in town. It was fun but a lot smaller than we thought. There was some neat things to look at. Evelyn enjoyed the food cafe where she could put food on a plate and bring it to us. She also enjoyed the animals. There was a rabbit that weighed about 20-26 lbs. It was huge. After we were done inside we went to lunch at Mr. Pickles. Richard had never been there and I had always wanted him to try so we were lucky when we say a brand new one that was close to the museum. We enjoyed a nice lunch while Camille took a nap and Evelyn rested a little bit. After lunch, we decided to go back to the museum and walk around on the grounds. They had about 14 acres that was part of the museum. So we got out the stroller and walked around, eventually Evelyn got out and explored all the things around her. It is amazing to watch her explore and study things. Once we were done exploring we came home to rest before going out to dinner. We picked Lavon up and had dinner at Carmelita's in Fair Oaks. It was a nice dinner and the girls both did pretty good.
It was a wonderful day!
Sunday, we had some friends over we had not seen in a while and got to catch up. It was really nice to see them and their little boy. We enjoyed a nice BBQ dinner and desserts before calling it a night. I hope Richard had a wonderful birthday because we all know that he deserves it all.
